GM Shapers is a community accountability partner within Live Well in Greater Manchester. They reframe conversations about inequality and prevention around lived experience and community insight.

GM Shapers brings together community leaders, residents and people with lived experience from across Greater Manchester. They acts as a critical friend and steward, including for the Live Well movement.

GM Shapers creates spaces for reflection, challenge, learning and dialogue. They help to bridge the gap between communities and systems by bringing community insight and lived experience to shape and influence decisions on policy, practice and investment.

GM Shapers also does community-led research, storytelling, evaluation and reporting. The evidence of local people’s priorities helps to shape understanding of impact, accountability and success from a community perspective.
