Purpose

To find out what a child-friendly city means to children. To make the priorities of children a central part of decision-making.

Activity

We ran fun, interactive workshops, using creative and playful activities with hundreds of diverse children aged 5-11 in schools, community festivals and holiday clubs, especially in low-wealth areas.

We asked the children what matters most to them in their everyday lives. We then analysed their priorities and ideas and turned them into an outline children’s agenda for a child-friendly city, with several themes emerging.

Impact

The impact of the project is yet to be assessed.
