Great Places Community Stars Awards celebrate the amazing work of individuals, community groups and projects in helping to build strong and sustainable communities. Their customers have been nominating their local heroes for the past few weeks. We are delighted to be informed that Salford Time Bank has been nominated for an award.

“The members of Time Bank are genuine heroes. This group has not only taken members out of isolation, it has given them a purpose. The group has been the fastest growing Time Bank in the country, now with over 100 members, 30 plus of whom are regularly active. Many of the group, whose confidence has been boosted by helping others, have gone on to run activities for the group. This includes a history club, a cooking class and organising trips out.”
